September 26, 2009 seemed to be the most unforgettable moment of most people in Metro Manila. No one had ever thought that typhoon Ondoy would greatly damage the city. Floods rose fast. In a span of hour, some houses couldn't be seen anymore. Many have dared to climb-up to their roofs, praying that the flood would stop from rising.
Lucky were those who have two-storey houses. What about those who have none? Truly said, the typhoon chose not. Even the prestigious personalities here in our country were affected by it. This was a very tragic experience. For most people, they call it... a nightmare.
But why did this thing happen? How did it happen? Was that the revenge of our nature to us for being so rude to it? Will there be several more kind of this to come? Was that the beginning of the near end?
Well, what I know is that it is an experience that everyone will remember FOREVER. I hope we learn from this tragedy and stop devastating our nature.
Note: Let spend a minute away from our leisures and let us all pray for the tragedy victims.
